According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US Divorce Rate in 1905 was 8% but skyrocketed to 53% in 1980. Today, the divorce rate is at 32% but this drop may be due to the fact that the marriage rate has also dropped 50% in the last 70 years. Why are many people not wanting to marry?
